Oyate Wall Mural

This past weekend my family and I visited Oyate (The People's Land). I designed this mural for the outside of LongWalker and WarriorWoman's kitchen. My husband helped me paint it, so we could finish in a half day. The mural is based on traditional native designs. And there sits my biggest fan... my son, Yayauhqui, with a smile of approval!

Miguel! No joke, I was just talking to Roberto about our Cross-Country days. I am glad you enjoy the art on my blog. I have been maintaining my blog weekly since the beginning of the year, so stop by Tuesdays to see more stuff. You are missed in San Jose!
